More consistent zirconia color, eliminates contamination build up The ORIGIN DuoTron sintering chamber is provided with the optimal level of fresh air through the built-in solenoid valve during the sintering process. This world-first, patent pending method of active ventilation drastically reduces the possibility of gradual build-up of contaminates that can cause discoloration and porcelain delamination in zirconia copings. Low levels of radioactive isotopes found in zirconia and color pigments (or color ions) for coloring zirconia that can build up inside a muffle is the major cause of coping discoloration and a shortened life of the heating coil. Dual Modes of Speed
Sintering in 2 hours for single cases or small bridges, sintering in 4-8 hours for large bridge cases Single copings or small bridges (up to 3 units) can be sintered in the 2 hour fast sintering mode. Large bridge cases can be sintered in extended sintering modes ranging from 4 to 7 hours. These longer sintering cycles are necessary in order to better regulate the uneven shrinkage between the thin coping areas and thick pontic areas of the bridge, thereby avoiding possible distortion. Expeditious sintering, amazing results!
Even heat distribution
With the cylindrical chamber design and round coil, heat is evenly distributed to attain the accuracy needed for long bridges.
Increased energy savings
Shorter sintering cycle times reduce your energy consumption by up to 80%.
