ORIGIN FTP - Download STL File Transfer Software
 

Getting Started
  1. Select a computer with an internet connection (Program will not install without active internet connection).
  2. Download file to your computer. Open location containing the ORIGIN FTP setup software.
  3. Click on SETUP.exe
  4. Microsoft's .NET program is necessary to install the ORIGIN FTP program.
  5. Follow the prompts of the ORIGIN Open Source Dental Solution Setup Wizard. (We recommend that you accept the defaults and confirm the installation.
  6. Installation may take a few minutes.
  7. Call B&D Dental Corp. at (877) 281-7444 for a username and password. The login information is determined by B&D and cannot be changed by user. Please keep a record of the login information for future reference.
  8. Login to ORIGIN FTP to confirm that it has been setup correctly.

System Use
  1. Login with username and password provided by B&D Dental.
  2. Check "Add" button to 'open' the .stl file(s) that need to be transfered. If an incorrect file has been added, the "Clear" button will remove all files from the transfer queue ("Local") file window.
  3. Click "Transfer" button and allow time to transfer files (confirm that the transfer is 'done' in the bottom status window).
    1. Files will appear in right window "Origin / B&D Dental Server"
    2. Once the files have been milled, they will be placed in the "Finished" folder. (The finished folder will be cleared periodically.)
